The Role:

The Product Data Management Specialist is responsible for the lifecycle of  the product master to ensure product data alignment and accuracy within internal and external systems. You will partner closely with cross-functional data owners to ensure product data is accurate from the time of creation to completion. You will work closely with merchants and digital marketing to define system needs and manage content for each product. You will be manipulating the Stibo application to achieve the desired data governance and publishing requirements.You will be responsible for any changes to the primary product hierarchy, attribute values, family groups, as well as mapping of data to the web taxonomy. They will manage the business and IT teams for mapping, and to address any system issues and enhancements requests. The ideal candidate will be very detailed oriented and have an excellent understanding for online e-commerce technologies, product data management and data delivery.


What You Get To Do:

  • Manipulating the STEP application to achieve the desired data governance and publishing requirement
  • Creates documentation and works closely with merchants and digital marketing to define system needs and set direction of the data 
  • Responsibility for any changes to the primary product hierarchy, attributes, attribute values and mapping of data from the primary hierarchy to the web taxonomy.
  • Managing training for vendors in the Stibo Vendor portal.
  • Work with vendors to obtain and edit information that provides the image and content to the copywriter.
  • Focus on data pulls and producing KPI’s dentified by the team.
  • Complete vendor scorecard analysis and vendor compliance analysis for auto-approve vendors/subclass.
  • Contact vendors for missing skus in the Vendors queue.
  • Implementation of Stibo InDesign Plug-in.
  • Work with cross functional teams to execute UAT.
  • Manage attributes used or the print catalogue.
  • Constantly look for new ways to improve business processes and or systems.
  • Develop and update SOP’s as needed and update Step user guide and maintenance.


What You Bring To The Role:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Technology  or equivalent
  • 3+ Years in Data Governance, Retail, Operations or related field
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, independent and strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with principles and practices of data management
  • Ability to work independently while supporting various teams 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Smartsheets, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized and deadline-driven
  • Stibo experience is a plus ·
  • Bilingual in French considered an asset
  • Ability to conceptualize and collaborate
