About the Role
We’re looking for a Part Time Warehouse Associate to help us keep things moving behind the scenes!
This position will work a flexible schedule with up to a maximum of 24 hours per week on our afternoon shift. Shift start time will be after 1 p.m., ending close to, or at midnight (no overnight work). This position is part of a unionized environment.
Responsibilities
- Ability to operate reach, cherry picker and rider machinery
- Fill commercial orders
- Inventory
- Maintain supply of boxes and envelopes when needed
- Remove office supply orders from conveyor lines
- Stack orders on pallets for line haul drivers and couriers for different delivery areas
- Shrink wrap pallets
- Sort and label bulk orders and special cross dock orders
- Clean work area and stack pallets
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Able to lift heavy objects - up to 60 lbs.
- Must be well organized with clean work habits
- Well developed communication skills and a team player
- HFA exposure an asset
Starting salary for this position is $19.86 / hour
