What will I do?

Do you have a passion for furniture solutions, space planning and design? Are you well versed in architectural blueprints and drawings?  You will work alongside our existing customers, while also prospecting and identifying new opportunities to build our commercial furniture segment.

The Account Executive - Office Interiors (FAE) is responsible for prospecting, identifying, and developing our furniture business by adding new customers, while maintaining and profitably growing business within existing Grand & Toy accounts. 

What qualifications do I need?

  • You are knowledgeable about sales of commercial furniture products and services, acquired through either formal education, or a minimum of 2 – 3 years on-the-job application (equal to a diploma or degree in business or sales)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in outside sales, developing new business and growing existing accounts
  • Ability to read architectural blueprints/drawings and understand furniture layout or space planning
  • Familiarity with RFP tender process
  • Experience with HON and other major Grand & Toy vendors a plus
  • Experience and willingness to participate in industry-specific affiliated programs is a plus
  • Occasional travel required, and may involve weekend and/or evening work
  • Experience in interior design or project management a plus
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM (Dynamics) tools is required
  • Experience with & ability to learn and utilize a complex pricing, order and sales tracking database tool (HFA/PowerBI)
